Keryl Mines

Executive Director & Therapist

Keryl Mines is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Master Social Worker and was trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in 2000 by Greg Kersten and Lynn Thomas, co-founders of the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).  She has provided mental health services in Nebraska since 1989 and has worked as a school social worker at the Plattsmouth Schools since 1996. Keryl also completed the Animal Assisted Therapy online program through New Hampshire University in 2015 and received their certification in Animal Assisted Therapy. She also often volunteers with Ted E. Bear Hollow and completed their facilitator training in 2008 giving her extensive knowledge and experience in working with grieving youth and families.
